A 21 day-long maceration and 6 month-aging in oak-barrels for part of the harvest give this red wine its rich and supple colour, forest fruit aromas and fruity yet deep palate, perfect balance between intensity and finesse.

Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Cabernet Franc 10%. This classic Bordeaux blend comes from 36-hectare vineyards surrounding the village of Rions, southeast of Bordeaux. The 2012 Côtes de Bordeaux AOC Château Deville Rouge from Château Deville follows a slow fermentation with maceration for 24 days and aging in oak barrels. The wine is pale ruby red. The nose reveals a variegated bouquet of black cherry, plums, plums and berries, with a clear call of sweet spices. The sip is round, enveloping and rich. The freshness component is good. It closes quite long on sweet spicy notes.
